Does Competition Lead To Lack, Separation, Human Struggle?

How we perceive competition really depends on its nature and it's easy to generalize based on what we interpret competition to be. We can all have healthy competitiveness in our nature, in play and work without it leading to poverty. We can empower others to achieve milestones through drive and perseverance within their own personal power where people learn to one up themselves to meet a goal.

Competition in business has lead to material benefits and natural harmony that has enriched many lives in the last several centuries. Yes, it can also have the reverse effect but that is an issue beyond competition....one more related to exploitation, greed, hierarchy and superiority complexes which are not a result of healthy competition. For example, we can challenge each other to a debate to express both our ideas and neither of us has to lose and both us come out with a better understanding of ourselves and our nature challenging our concepts so we may acquire new sensibilities within our mindset.

Competition then is not necessarily about separation, fighting, lack or human struggle although this may at times appear to be the construct behind the scenes. Deep within the beauty of competition we can find other drivers, motivators and influences that truly give rise to an exceptional humanity where winning and losing are not at the forefront of our objectives but rather building a model and testament to how beautifully we can affect other human beings through inspiration and love for what we do.
